Top 3 Issues

Issue 1

An excellent education for every child in Idaho. Every child. No exceptions.

Issue 2

Keeping taxes low and reigning in government spending. I have voted for $3.7 billion in tax cuts and rebates in the last several years. Sen. Scott Grow and I led an effort during the 2024 legislative session for a more transparent and accountable budgeting process. For the first time ever, we separated base spending from growth spending. We have now put in place a building block that moves Idaho from basic compliance budgeting laws toward performance budgeting – accountability for the use of your taxpayer dollars. We will be connecting spending to the promised outcomes for the first time. This is great news for taxpayers!

Issue 3

Promoting and preserving Idaho’s conservative values • 100% Pro-life voting record, endorsed by Idaho Chooses Life • “A” rating with the NRA (National Rifle Association) • An excellent education for every child wherever they learn • Pro-family voting record • Named Friend of Agriculture by the Idaho Farm Bureau • A proven voting record of reducing our taxes • Improving Government and Fiscal Transparency • Recognized by the Mountain States Policy Center as an Elevation Award recipient for my commitment to free markets, quality education and fiscal transparency.
