Biography and Background

Elected in 2018. Issue 1

SAFE: I believe: That when it comes to competitive sports men should compete against men and women should compete against women and that girls should not be forced to share a locker room with a biological male. Period. No Exceptions. I believe: that we need to clean up Joe Bidens mess and secure our southern border and fight to stop the flow of deadly drugs like fentanyl into Idaho. At the same time, we need to encourage a better HR2 program and allow farm workers to stay and work in Idaho for more than 9 months. Cows need milked for 12 months. I believe: That Bidens soft on China policy has put our economic and national security at risk and in the Legislature I will fight to keep the Chinese Communist Party out of our farmland, our personal data, and our skies.

Issue 2

Defend Idaho Values: I believe: Idaho is strongly pro-life and will defend the rights of the unborn and bolster pro-life laws. I believe: In protect in our second amendment rights and our Idaho Constitutional right to retain our arms regardless of a perceived risk. I believe: we should fight for critical funding for outdated building for public schools to “establish and maintain a general, uniform, and thorough system of public, free common schools.” I will continue to vote to illuminate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion like I did in H734 APPROPRIATIONS for COLLEGEs AND UNIVERSITIES I believe: and strongly oppose efforts to defund the police and the to Back the Blue by standing up for law enforcement and providing them with the resources needed to keep our communities safe.

Issue 3

Improve the Economy and Put more money into Idahoans Pockets: Deliver Good Government and Responsible Solutions: Joe Biden reckless policies have given us record high inflation, rising housing, and grocery prices, and higher energy costs. I will work with the legislature to fix so called “Bidennomics” that is crushing Idaho families and small businesses. I am committed to ensuring that Idaho maintains our position as the number one least regulated state, the number one state in year over year economic growth and the number one state for small business entrepreneurs. I will continue to support cutting property tax and income tax.

Except for the provisions specifically noted below, I support the Idaho Republican Party Platform and accept it as the standard by which my performance as a candidate and as an officeholder should be evaluated. I certify that I am not a candidate, officer, delegate or position holder in any party other than the Republican Party.”
Exceptions:

Article 1 Sections 2 I; I do not believe that the 16th and 17th amendments to the US Constitution should be repealed. 4A; I do not believe that the US dollar could possibly be backed by gold and silver in this day and age. 5D; I do not believe that federal laws can be nullified. 5F; I do not believe that the Idaho Constitution should be thus amended.

Article II Section 3; needs clarification. Does this refer to electors or candidates?

Article III Section 3; I believe that public dollars should follow students in the public education system as per the Idaho Constitution. I believe private dollars should follow the student to private schools if that is the parents’ choice. Section 12; Idaho made a step in the right direction in the 2024 session by making SBOE appointments regional.

Article X; Idaho is not prepared to administer ALL Federal lands. Some lands will never be managed by the state, i.e. lands that operate under Department of Energy (INL). H468 (2024) gives public land grazers the ability to work with the Idaho State Department of Agriculture in co-managing range improvement projects on public lands. Another step in the right direction.

Article XIV Section 2B; the elimination of marriage licenses would be a legal nightmare for Idahoans in cases of divorce. Many religious marriage ceremonies require a legal state issued marriage license.
