Section 2. Taxation
C. We believe Idaho’s tax structure should be predictable, fair, and balanced; and
that the combination of our income, sales, and property taxes will continue to
provide a stable, dependable source of income for governmental needs. (I disagree with the way property taxes implemented. At a certain point in someone’s life, that burden should be lifted or drastically reduced. Reassessment of property and or homes should not occur until the home is sold.)
Section 6. Honest Elections and the Electoral College
(I agree but I also believe mail in voting was to our own demise for honest elections. We need to go back to in person, paper, hand counted ballots. Machines fail and elections are far too important)
ARTICLE III. EDUCATION (I agree but I’d also like to see the federal government out of the education system, if they are to do anything with schooling, it should only be for the building or rebuilding of school buildings)
Article 17. National Defense
Idaho National Guard under the command of Idaho’s governor.
(I don’t believe it should be the governor alone, I understand the urgency aspect but I believe it should be from the governor, lt. gov & Idaho attorney general.)
The Supreme Law of the Land is the Constitution and only God has the power to take what he has given to us away, not government.
