Biography and Background

I was born to Archie and Marlene Yamamoto, was raised on a farm in the Nampa/Caldwell area and graduated from Vallivue High School, the College of Idaho (BA/MA) and the University of Idaho (Ed Specialist/Ed.D). I am married to Leland Sasaki. Both of us enjoyed rewarding careers working with students, teachers, and parents. I retired after 32 years as a teacher/administrator and decided to give back to my community through civic engagement, including being a facilitator for LOVE INC, the chair of the Assistance League of Boise Canyon County Branch, and now, as the Representative for District 11A. It was my pleasure to serve on three Committees; Education, Resources, and Energy, Environment, & Technology.
