Biography and Background

I have been involved in Republican politics for over 20 years, volunteering for campaigns, being a Precinct committee person, testifying in committees, contacting my Representatives which all led to my election as an Idaho State Representative. I am concerned about where our country is headed and I want to be a part of the solution for a better America starting with Idaho. I have a proven record of voting based on the conservative principles of less government, lower taxes and less spending of taxpayer dollars. I have a Biblical worldview and God is first in my life and the decisions I make, in and out of the Capitol. I am we the People. I am Pro life, life begins at conception with no exceptions. I will always vote to protect our 2nd amendment. We need representatives in the legislature that are not afraid of keeping Idaho sovereign and out from under the federal governments thumb. I am a constitutional conservative. I strongly support the Idaho GOP platform.

Issue 1

Conservative Values and Principles: I believe conservative values and principles center on preserving tradition, promote personal responsibility, and upholding moral integrity. Conservatives emphasize the importance of the traditional family and protecting our children’s innocence and maintaining respect for the right to personal religious beliefs. Conservatives advocate for limited government intervention in both economic and social spheres, believing in individual freedom, free markets and fiscal responsibility. Conservatives prioritize the protection of individual rights, including the right to life, liberty and property, while also supporting a strong national defense and a robust legal system. Conservatives aim for a society that fosters personal initiative, respect for authority and a commitment to timeless virtues. I think the 10 Commandments are good guide for how we should live our lives.

Issue 2

Borders: Closing the Mexican border is the number one issue among Americans right now. Idaho needs to pass legislation to give law enforcement and our courts the ability to arrest, convict and deport those that have entered illegally. Open borders bring concerns regarding national security, immigration control, and public safety. A secure border is essential for safeguarding the US against illegal immigration, human trafficking, drug smuggling and potential threats to national security. Closing the border is a necessary step in regaining control over the immigration process, ensuring that individuals enter the country through legal channels and go through proper vetting procedures. Border closure protects American jobs and resources, as well as preventing a strain on public services. Implementing strict border controls upholds the rule of law and protects the interests of American citizens and maintains order and stability within the country.

Issue 3

Limited government growth: Limiting government growth promotes individual freedom, economic prosperity and efficient governance. Restraining the expansion of government allows citizens to retain more control over their lives and decisions. Limiting government growth encourages a flourishing private sector, allowing businesses to thrive and innovate without excessive regulatory burdens. Idaho is growing at a fast pace, we need to allow citizens the freedom to thrive in our state.
