Biography and Background
Born and raised on a farm in southern Twin Falls County.. Graduated CSI, Univ. of Idaho and College of Idaho. 33 years in Education, 16 years as a teacher and 17 years as a Middle School Principal. 16 years on the Twin Falls City Council serving as Mayor in 2012 and 2013. 10 years in Idaho Air and Army National Guard. Raised in a Common Sense Conservative GOP Family.
Top 3 Issues
Sustainable Growth: We need to make sure the growth is from good paying jobs. We need to build up as much as possible to stop taking our lifeblood of top agricultural lands.
Infrastructure: We have fallen behind of our streets, road and bridges. We need to build smart but we need a concentrated effort to keep up with growth. Our economic future depends on it.
Property taxes: We need to be creative to make sure everyone is paying their fair share. We may need to be creative. One possible way is to share the internet sales tax with cities and counties and tie it to lowering property tax.
