Biography and Background
Dan grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Ga. before attending the U.S. Air Force Academy and then serving as a pilot in the Air Force, including wartime service in Desert Storm. He likes to say that his dad taught him the value of hard work and his mom the value of honesty. He has been a commercial pilot for over two decades and lives in SE Boise. His wife was born and raised in Boise. They’ve been married 31 years and have two wonderful boys. Both boys are Eagle Scouts.
Dan has served his community as an assistant Scoutmaster, civic association president, chair of a church early childhood education program, and most recently as the treasurer of Boise’s oldest non-profit providing a home to the very low income.
Dan first visited Idaho in 1991 and it was love at first sight. He would be immensely proud to serve her and the citizens of District 18 in the state senate.
