Top 3 Issues

Issue 1

Protecting children – Cindy has been working hard to protect children from the harmful material they are being exposed to in school and on the internet. She believes children are a gift from God and it is our duty to protect the innocent. She believes that all life is precious.

Issue 2

School Choice – Money invested in education should follow the student. Every student has a different learning style. We need to focus on what is the best learning environment for each child. They all deserve an education that meets their needs. Providing school choice will allow for competition in education which will benefit all students. There are parents who do not have access to school choice at this time. Parents need the option to send their child to public, pubic charter, private, micro or home school. Some parents are not able to take their children out of public school due to their circumstances.

Issue 3

Common Sense Spending – It is imperative that Idaho learn to to be reliant on it’s own money. 42% of Idaho’s budget should not be funded by the Federal government. We do not want to have strings attached to money that forces Idaho to follow more Federal regulations. This would mean that Idaho would have to give up some programs. Our citizens need to work for what they receive. We have way too many people relying on our government to take care of them. We do need to take care of a few who can’t take care of themselves. We need to teach our children the value of hard work while they are in their parents care and watchful eye. We need to go back to common sense.
