Biography and Background

For the last two years I have had the honor of representing the people of Nampa in the Idaho House of Representatives. I was raised on the mission field in Kiev, Ukraine and as a pastor’s son in Emmett, Idaho.

I’m a proud home school graduate of Idaho, and had the pleasure to coach football in the Nampa School District (2015). Prior to that, I served our country in the United States Marine Corps, serving two combat tours in Afghanistan and one Marine expeditionary deployment as part of a battalion landing team.

I enjoy being a public speaker focused on advocacy for veteran issues, especially veterans suffering with PTSD, and have worked in the construction and public relations fields.

I am a Christian, and my wife and I are dedicated to raising our children with a Christ centered worldview.

Issue 1

Individual Liberty Every American has the right to life, liberty, and property. Ownership of one’s self is a founding principle of our Republic and I will work tirelessly to ensure that Government is not infringing on the rights of the free People of Idaho. “Every man has a property in his own person. Issue 2

2nd Amendment The second amendment is the citizen’s last line of defense against an oppressive government, and I will NEVER vote for any form of gun control. Red Flag laws are a prime example of legislation being forced on us by the Federal Government and anti-Second Amendment groups. You can count on my NO vote against any law that infringes your constitutional right to keep and bear arms. “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” – Thomas Jefferson

Right to Life and Pro-life We are created by God and have been endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, the first of which is the Right to Life. Every life is valuable, and I am an outspoken advocate for the unborn and for the expectant mothers who are caught in difficult circumstances. “We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life–the unborn–without diminishing the value of all human life.” – Ronald Reagan
