Biography and Background

I am driven by a profound sense of duty to my beloved state of Idaho, guided by my faith, conservative values, and commitment to the principles upon which our nation was founded. As a devoted mother and veteran’s wife, I am deeply invested in securing a prosperous future for our state and safeguarding the liberties of future generations.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Northwest Nazarene College and a master’s degree from Lesley University. Throughout my career, I primarily taught junior high math, serving as Department Chair, Team Leader, New Teacher Mentor, and a Driver’s Education Instructor. Beyond the classroom, I have dedicated myself to coaching basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, and tee ball.

During my tenure as a legislative intern under Representative Judy Boyle, I gained invaluable experience and insights into the intricacies of our state’s governance. One of my proudest accomplishments is both authoring and championing the Parental Bill of Rights, a crucial step in recognizing parents as the primary stakeholders in their children’s upbringing. This groundbreaking legislation reflects my unwavering commitment to defending family values and parental authority.

I am running for office to ensure that every voice in my district is heard and represented. I am steadfast in my commitment to upholding Biblical and Constitutional principles, prioritizing the needs and concerns of my constituents above all else.

Over the next decade, Idaho’s exponential growth poses significant challenges, from strains on infrastructure to escalating costs of living and taxation. Addressing these challenges will be among my top priorities, ensuring that Idaho remains a place where families can thrive.

Equally paramount is the well-being of our children, who represent the future of our state. As a former educator and dedicated advocate for children, I believe it is imperative to refocus on traditional family values and provide our youth with the support and guidance they need to flourish.

My candidacy is driven by a steadfast commitment to serving the people of Idaho, preserving our cherished values, and ensuring a bright and prosperous future for generations to come.

I understand the vital importance of a vibrant economy for the prosperity of Idahoans. I’m committed to championing policies that encourage economic growth and job creation while addressing the challenges posed by soaring government spending. The rising costs of gas and housing, coupled with the challenge young adults face in purchasing homes, are pressing issues. Property taxes have reached burdensome levels. These factors combine to place significant financial strain on homeowners. My goal is to rein in government spending, reduce waste, and lower the tax burden on families and businesses.

As a mother of three and a former educator, I understand the significance of a robust education system that respects parental rights. I believe each child has distinct needs, and parents should have the freedom to choose the best educational path for their child. I have always advocated for parental involvement in education, promoting collaboration between educators and parents to build a strong foundation for students. I support school choice and will oppose any measures that undermine parental rights in the educational process.

***I believe life begins the moment of conception. Although I do believe we must do absolutely everything to protect the life of the unborn baby, when the life of the mother is medically proven to be at risk, I don’t believe the mother, or the healthcare provider should be criminalized for murder.
