Idaho Republican Party Chairwoman Dorothy Moon’s statement about the Idaho Supreme Court decision on the Reclaim Idaho election initiative:
The Idaho Supreme Court refused to let Reclaim Idaho advance several misleading and inaccurate claims contained in their latest initiative proposal.
Rather than ensure our elections are safe and secure, Reclaim Idaho wants to complicate our elections with California-style voting systems. In short, Reclaim wants to eliminate the Republican Party and turn Idaho into a Rocky Mountain San Francisco. The Idaho Supreme Court rejected most of Reclaim’s arguments, including their proposed trick to “open” primaries through ranked choice voting.
Make no mistake: Reclaim’s initiative is about whether a secret group of millionaires control Idaho or whether Idaho is governed by the people.
