Executive Director, Joshua Whitworth
Joshua Whitworth is the Executive Director of the Idaho Republican Party, where he oversees the day-to-day, political, and fundraising operations of the organization. Josh grew up on his family’s cattle ranch in Mackay, Idaho and has been active with his own cattle operations since. A graduate of Idaho State University, with a degree in Business in 2004, Josh was also an All- Conference recognized football player for the Bengals. Aside from ranching, Josh has previously worked in healthcare IT, real estate, and most recently, worked as a recruiter for Idaho State University. Josh lives in Boise with his wife, Kala.
Political Director, Trevor Thorpe
The Political Director’s primary responsibility will be to oversee the 2012 political plan, with a secondary responsibility of assisting the County Republican Central Committees with successfully implementing their first ever Presidential Caucuses on Tuesday, March 6th. Trevor Thorpe, a native of Virginia, is a 2010 graduate of BYU in Provo and fulfilled his mission obligations in Mexico City in 2006. Before serving as the Idaho GOP Victory Director in 2010, where he ran the Boise Victory Office and directed the campaign operations that assisted Congressman Raul Labrador’s successful campaign to defeat former Democrat Congressman Walt Minnick. Trevor interned in the US Department of State in 2009 where he assisted as a desk officer for the Office of Assistance for Europe, Central Asia, and the Americas, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration. Thorpe is married to Lindsey Duhon of Rupert, and they have settled in Boise.
