Idaho GOP National Committeeman Damond Watkins Selected to Serve on 2012 Republican National Convention Committee on Arrangements
Boise, Idaho – The Republican National Committee announced today that Damond Watkins, who represents one of Idaho’s three votes on the Republican National Committee, was selected by RNC Chairman Reince Priebus to serve on the Committee on Arrangements for the 2012 Republican National Convention.
“I would like to congratulate Damond on his selection to the 2012 Republican National Convention Committee on Arrangements,” stated Idaho GOP Chairman Norm Semanko. “I would also like to thank RNC Chairman Priebus for appointing Damond to the Committee as I believe this appointment is important for Idaho and will play a key role in electing a Republican President in 2012.”
In response to his selection, Damond Watkins said, “I am honored to be chosen by Chairman Priebus to serve on the RNC’s Committee on Arrangements. I look forward to working with the Committee to ensure that the 2012 RNC Convention in Tampa Bay is first-class and serves as the catalyst that propels our Republican Party Presidential Nominee to the White House in 2012.”
